Members of the SmartUp team will be on site for every placement day. Typically, two technicians are required to handle a placement, though more may be needed depending on the size of the pour.
The first SmartUp technician will be stationed at the mixing operation, overseeing the mix design, correct batching, and making live adjustments to the mix based on environmental conditions and feedback from the bridge crew. This technician will also conduct and record quality control tests for each batch, and cast cylinders as needed.
The second SmartUp technician will move continuously between the mixing operation and the bridge site, providing training and assistance as needed for other workers. This technician helps explain casting procedures in real time and provides feedback to the mixing operations as needed.
